Gimbal with easyrig support.

So theres a ton of gimbal owners, with good cameras on those gimbals which means weight. I am wondering if anyone has used the easyrig with their gimbal? I recently purchased the DJI Ronin, with c100 + monitor, it can get pretty heave and its harder to get up high. So, just wondering how something like this works? any feedback?

Thanks!

I've got the Ronin coming this week. i also have an Easyrig but its not for the weight that the gimbal and camera will be. I've seen several other people trying to use the Easyrig an I'm not impressed since it "does" bounce when walking. i usually use a C100/RRMicro Cage/Zacuto gorilla plate & arm/SmallHD EVF mounted to the Easyrig Mini and don't find walking at all smooth. I'm also just about maxed out on weight for the Easyrig Mini. i have no interest in spending 3k for an Easyrig that would hold 18-20 lbs which is why I'm looking into this...

I've seen a couple of videos with a gimbal attached to this rig and its definitely better than the Easyrig from the videos I've seen out there but not convinced it perfect. i do agree that the Ronin will be a beast to hold for more than a few minutes.

I'm going to explore a few other ways of supporting the Ronin as well.

ill report back when i get a chance to play with it some.

I've seen that as well. this seems to be a decent alternative so far but still not perfect and is pricey @ 2k.

I purchased the atlas support for my Ronin/ C100/ Redrock finger wheel and it reallllly really helps for those long walking shots!

Maybe it sounds odd... but seems like some sort of vest solution could be the way to go, though maybe it would need 2 posts, or take a percentage of the weight... or at least make it easy to break between shots?

Might be one of those things someone will suss out and become the standard? You never know. The iso arms have proven to be good for keeping a heavy rig floating.
