Well, it was hard work and worth it. I worked with a great cast and crew, some of whom I have worked with before.

Now, on this one, I received the credit of SFX/Stunt Coordinator/Armorer as well as being the SWAT team leader. But this was also my first debut into directing, as the SWAT team was mine to direct, train, and make them look good. And for having only two hours with them prior to shooting, they did great! This was a 72 hr project, hosted by CampusMovieFest and funded by AT&T/Virgin America.

My hat is off to FPS Productions and the everyone on the film! It was hard work and we stuck to it! Congrats, all!

Wow! For those who have been following, we won "Best Drama" at the local level for Campus Movie Fest at UCLA out of 126 submissions.

Just found out we are accepted into the International Grand Finale. We are competing against 46 other shorts from around the world. The screening night will be June 12 at the Paramount Studios Theatre. Going to Hollywood on the Big Screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, we didn't win anything at the Grand Finale. A couple of decent other films placed well, but I wonder about the judging criteria. It seemed the judges picked films that were not complete stories, but rather excepts from larger films. I will say one of them was fantastic.

Oh well, live and learn.

But on another note, the experience was a thrill. Got to talk one on one with both John Cho (Star Trek) and James Cromwell, was asked to sign an autograph w/ my headshot on the lot of Paramount (when you go into the Watertower Cafe at Paramount Studios, I am on the back wall), walked down the red carpet and was interviewed by a couple of news channels, stayed in a POSH hotel.

To the guys and gals at FPS Productions, amazing job! And yes, we were robbed of our award! LOL.
 
LOL bet you didn't know I made the front animation and the music along with it xD
