Guys, I posted in c300 forum, but wanted to post here as well and hopefully do more of an in depth blog/journal of the project from post to distribution. Feedback always welcome.

Hey guys and girls, just wanted to post a link for the teaser of my first feature film Hide or Seek. Shot with Canon C300 and Leica R primes modified by Duclos Lenses. It was a blast to make, very small budget, but really talented and dedicated crew. As with anything of this budget level, word of mouth is key for distribution, so if you dig the teaser please share and hit us up on our website www.hideorseekthemovie.com for updates. Thanks guys. https://vimeo.com/68457648

I think it looks great, definitely doesn't look low budget. I think you could benefit from a better font choice for the title at the end. And, if you can, ramp up the horror/scare/action elements towards the end of the trailer, that would entice me even more.

Screenforme, Thanks so much for checking it out. Great idea on the font, will look into that, and will check out the end as well. I plan on rolling out a few teasers over the next few months as at this part of the game as we finish post, it is all about building an audience as we prepare for distribution. Thanks again :)

So far the response to the teaser has been really positive, and we are slowly building an audience using social media, as well as facebook ads and Virool which helps place your trailer on various blogs and gaming sites etc. There are a lot of tools that I am discovering for a DIY marketing strategy, I will keep you guys posted on which are working better than others. In the meantime, here's a little behind the scenes action for ya. Thanks DVX Users.

Purely based on the budget. We have 2 pickup days coming up that we are shooting in LA. However for the next one we will expand to 15 days with two weekends off. Just one day over the two weeks was very hard on the small crew. We only had one day we went over time, but still the crew was wiped out day 12. Also Broll is the first thing that is sacrificed, and I had to go back and pickup some night Broll. Lessons learned, but going forward for this type of film 15 days would work so much better.

Looks great, but some of the audio has me thinking I'd be straining to hear dialog if I wanted to see the whole movie.
The OMG at the end was perfect.

Steve, much appreciated sir. I promise my mixer Dustin and I will make that dialogue sing for you. :)
