Ghost Hunters......

Not sure if anyone has noticed yet (I did a search and didn't see any posts), but the (fairly new) series "Ghost Hunters" on the Sci-Fi Channel is shot with the DVX.

As I type this (Wednesday evening 8:30 est on the 24th), Sci-Fi is running a six episode 'marathon' of the show until 1:00 am.

i went to program the tivo and it started recording, it's on right now!

um... is it shot on 24p? I dunno why but it looks like 60i just until someone moves. then it stobes but it looks like 30p more like. watching it now....

To me it's 24p, but the images seem really thin and lacking the usual 'texture' of DVX footage, unless a scene is lit well (or at all for that matter).....kinda reminds me of a VHS copy made on a low quality tape.

They do intercut the DVX's stuff with what appears to be a Sony of some kind with 'nightvision' now and again when they are doing the EVF and Electromagnetic readings.

It's a great show either way.

I highly doubt that that was 24p. that's some sort of mistake that's what that is.
