Hey guys. I've been working all weekend doing house work and stuff and havent had a chance to sit down and actually shoot some stuff. But i just threw this together in a few minutes to show the improvments so far. Wednesday hopefully i will be able to sit down and piece together my final design of the adapter, so i can figure out a fair price if a few people would like to buy one. So wednesday expect. Less grain, and a Better picture Image from new optics. But to show an improvment heres a little test footage. Sorry for the same old music, don't really have time to change it/i like the song.

Looks cool man. Definitely an improvement over the first footage.

Would you consider selling your design plans so people can follow and build their own?
 
Yeah. i'm trying to design something durable but yet resonable, and trying to figure out if rods are needed, because the whole adapter is xtremely light. But yeah, looking forward to post some new footage, should be almost night and day.
 
dude, that looks pretty clean. Can you go outside and shoot a few pan shots, etc. I notice when the girl throws the peace sign it didn't focus right. Eh no matter what, hook me up. :beer:

Maybe you could form some type of adapter for your adapter, for cameras with smaller thread sizes (I'm looking to buy a DVX eventually, so I want it to be multi camera compatible)

Also, what lens was that?

I think by the time you design the final adapter, you'll have to sit down and design one for the HVX.

what sup with this explosion of 35MM adapter? that freaking awesome, maybe if everyone keep making them, they'll have no choice but to lower the price... probably not. I want one..though. Someone should make a plan available freely and start a revolution, we'll hand them the dvx nobel prize.. yea.. uh huh.. right..

footage looks great btw. show us how to make one bro.
 
That is awesome stuff. I need to make one for myself, but I don't have a DVX, I have the JVC GY-HD100U. The Letus35 should be done by the end of the year, but I want to make my own for some reason. Everyone else is doing it so why not.
