That's why I always ask people to upload files because in 2021 just about anything could go wrong with this stuff across multiple hardware and software.
And I'm extra curious about this situation because what could possibility be so different about the file and its encoding and decoding - and whatever - that it has to break up in QT and FCP on older Macs but plays fine on a M1.
The glitching was so bad it almost looked like one of those third-party creative plugins, ha.
Not sure I've ever seen that before.
