GH5 GH5s Dual I.S. perfomance versus 5-axis stabilization of GH5.

Some of their friends called them negative, some discussed their generations entitlement, but they knew they were neither. They just knew they loved each other very much.

...So then they moved to Utah where the two of them and their new friend Hi-ISO lived together happily ever after. The end. :-)

The DVX200 has 5 axis stabilization. I guess this is not true IBIS so maybe you are correct. I do not know the tech hurdle to put IBIS in a camcorder compared to a hybrid camera.

So we know that walking with the GH5s is not an option! :) I would like to see how "normal" handheld footage compares between having an IS lens on the GH5s, IBIS only on the GH5 and Dual IS on the GH5.

Well the same universal laws will still apply to the GH5s shooting hand held, if you don't want to shoot on a gimbal....use wider lenses and make the camera heavy...when on longer lenses a light tripod or monopod would do the trick, but with some weight on a shoulder mount the GH5s would just become any other cinema camera...it's the weight that takes the jitters out of the footage, and of course wider lenses too.

So, have there been any reviewers of the GH5s been able to compare the dynamic range and noise performance of the S version compared to the regular GH5 at LOW ISO's?

Being able to go higher in ISO can be handy sometimes, but I mainly shoot between ISO 100 and 800 anyway so I am interested to hear if there has been any improvement IQ wise in those ranges. Is there fewer noise because of the larger pixels? A bit more DR? Or are they virtually the same there?
