GH4 GH5 - Smooth Aperture changes when in Shutter Priority?

Just wondering if the aperture adjusts for exposure changes in steps when shooting in shutter priority, or does it function more like a camcorder?
 
That will likely be largely determined by the lens itself. Different lenses may have different capabilities when it comes to how fine an increment they can adjust.
 
Interesting quote from that press release that illustrates the point:
