GH5 GH5 screen protector recommendations...

Just as the title says.

What screen protectors are everyone using on their GH5s?

More important is to protect EVF optics. I wonder why it has no cover plug like any lens has?

Never used a screen protector on any GH camera, & never scratched one of their LCDs.

Also never heard of anyone burning their GH’s EVF due to exposure to direct sunlight. Seen it happen a couple of times to externally mounted EVFs, but those are easier to leave pointed upward towards the Sun where it only takes a few seconds to do damage.

Didn’t realize your concern was scratching the EVF’s optics.

Believe a friend had Panasonic replace that optic on one of his GH4s for the same reason. He tends to sling his camera often, & imagine that may be a factor in the damage.

Too bad Panasonic didn’t use glass instead of plastic.

GH5 has different EVF glass. I wonder if it is possible to change only the outer EVF glass if I damage it? In GH3/4 the whole EVF system must be replaced.

these are very good. available in glass clear or anti glare sticker. I have the anti glare which reduces sharpness of the screen a little, but does the job of anti glare...

I scratched my EVF lens. A little toothpaste, a microfibre cloth and some elbow grease and it was good as new.
