GH5 GH5 native support NOW in Davinci Resolve Studio 12.5.6 !

There has been many reports of it not working. It might have been certain version that worked and those that didn't. It has always worked for me with version 12.5.0.052 (free). I am certainly contemplating purchasing it, since the price went down.
 
Isn't it only the new Resolve 14 that has the 10bit restriction with the free version? I didn't think Resolve 12 was built in a way to discriminate against H264 flavors.
 
There are two products: one is called DaVinci Resolve, this one is free and has limitations, the other one is called DaVinci Resolve Studio which is the full version.

H.264 10bit 4:2:2 will only be supported in the Studio version!

I just updated Resolve 14 Beta 4 OSX free version and it doesn't support GH5 10bit UHD. Media Offline.

Strange decision by BMD to not support the codec in the free version. They clearly feel they are in a position to get people to buy it. It's a very good value considering how powerful the color correcting aspects are. I'm ready to pull the trigger soon on the Studio version. I do wish I could run both 14 beta and 12.5 on the same machine.
