GH4 GH5: Native or Metabones?

So I'm looking to pair a GH5 with my C100 MKII and MKI for beauty shots at weddings and also for another wide in camera in the back for a safety. 4K with the ability to crop in would be amazing. I would also love to pair the GH5 with a gimbal but is it a better idea to go native, maybe the 12-60mm (v1 or 2?) lens or just get a Metabones adapter and use the many pieces of Canon glass I have?

I would love to have something with a good deal of stabilization but I do need something with decent working autofocus on the gimbal. Any opinions on this matter? I've been following the GH5 for a bit now and I have not used any other Panasonic except for the AF100 many years ago. I'd love to make the switch for the 4K ability along with the other feature set like slow motion but I feel like it's a little leap backwards with the lack of ND filters. At least to go with nothing but GH5s. As a wedding videographer, I need to be as run and gun as it gets for the most part.

Appreciate the help on this matter, thanks.

I'm trying to buy a Speed Booster XL but they are all out of stock right now. I think a combo of both is a good idea. I'm not that interested in stills and video AF isn't that great anyway so manual lenses and a Speed Booster makes a lot of sense for me.

If AF in video is important shoot in 60p because 24p continues is unreliable.

I have heard the continuous autofocus isn't as good as it should be and is better in 60p. While I can shoot 60p in some cases, I would not most of the time. It would be great to have a camera dedicated to gimbal work along with pulling double duty on beauty shots, but if the AF will fail I don't know that I need a $3,500 (some accessories) third camera. It would probably lose much of it's swiss army knife application in that instance.

The Canon C100 AF is not groundbreaking, but if I turn it on and put the camera on a glidecam and keep the couple centered—the shot will be in focus. That's about all I need, nothing crazy to be honest. I'm wondering if Panasonic will make the needed changes for the AF system in the GH5. If so maybe native would be a better option. The speedbooster with some of my Canon lenses would be quite nice though as well.

For gimbal work, native lenses are generally preferable. (If for no other reason than their size.)

I would probably use this for a wide of the ceremony with the ability to punch in from 4K on a 1080p timeline. 12-35 Panasonic lens or would I miss the range of the 12-60? The 12-35 is mostly appealing for shooting inside or in a church but the 12-60 might still be usable, it would just depend I suppose. Any thoughts?

Also, how bad is the focus by wire aspect? I'm use to Canon and not some older manual lenses.

Disclaimer... yes I tried the search mode.

I didn't see it on the metabones site... but was wondering about the Nikon mount speed booster with the GH5.

Reason I'm asking is my friend is willing to part with his Rokinon set of cine primes and a Sigma 18 to 35 cheap, but they're the Nikon mount because at the time... those worked best with his Blackmagic 2.5k camera.
