I love using my Panasonic GH5, but I find that one of the functions I use most frequently seems to be only accessible through finicky touch-screen controls.
To adjust mic levels while recording, it seems like you have to enter into the touch screen menu, click the camera icon on the right-side bar, then the microphone, then adjust.
I'm wondering if mic levels can be mapped to the custom function buttons on the joystick - ideally left and right - so you can quickly make minor tweaks while recording without going through menus. When I've looked through custom functions options, the only one that has to with sound seems to be Mic Directivity. Am I missing something?
Does anyone know if this is possible, or why its not? Hopefully leaving this out isn't just a way to sell XLR units for improved level control!
