GH4 GH5 MetaBones Booster XL + Canon 8-15 Problem

I am not able to stop down the lens anymore than f14. Not sure what the problem is. I have updated the firmware and this is happening on both the GH5 and GH4. Anyone run into this problem on this lens or another lens and have a fix? I have also contacted Metabones and I am awaiting a response.

Thanks
Jeff

Aside from questioning why you would want to absolutely kill lens res. with diffraction effects at such tiny apertures - even worse with UWA lenses - simply put, what you gain in aperture wide open with the speedbooster, you also gain across the board to the top.

For specialty shots when shooting directly into the sun to produce a star effect from the sun's rays. Thank you for the reply. I understand losing some stops on the high end I just did not expect to lose that many.

A Speed Booster boosts both the maximum and the minimum aperture of the lens. A minimum aperture of f/22 does indeed become f/14 after multiplying by 0.64x. This has nothing to do with electronics. It's physics.
