Hello Group,
I have the Panasonic Lumix GH5 and I trying to shoot slow motion for the first time (24fps 1080), I'm doing some tests with it. In the apt. I have the cheap low watt LED light bulbs. When shooting in the VFR at 120 at 24fps 1080 in MOV I see some very strange black bars moving up the lcd screen, the bars are spread apart and continue to move slowly up the LCD screen, similar to an old television and, these bars are also recorded onto the video too after doing test recordings. They bars did finally go away when I set the shutter angle all the way to "346".
Now, I tested the VFR in 4k 24fps (60 VFR) with no issues but you can only go to a VFR of 60 when shooting 4k. Also, everything looks fine when I get out of VFR mode and into standard shooting mode no issue seeing any black bars or banding.. I have a shoot coming up in 2 days and I'm wanting to shoot at 120 for a nice super slow motion effect. Has anyone experienced this strange issue? Or perhaps you know what to do? I'm going to assume it is the cheap LED light bulbs causing the issue?
Thanks for your help!
