GH4 GH5 extended warranty

Does anyone have even the slightest apprehension about cutting your new DC GH5 box to remove the UPC for the extended warranty offer? Will this affect resell/trade-in, in the future? This is not required in the UK, as I understand it.
 
I used a work knife. And I was worried about resale value. But if I planned to keep the camera for a year or two I can still sell it at decent price since it still have warranty (limited). But I recommend wait till almost 30 days of your purchase before cutting the box in case the camera has issue. :)
