GH4 GH5 4K 10bit 4.2.2 - what NLE's are working ???

Anyone had any success editing 10bit GH5 clips?

What os, hardware and nle software combo's are working for you?

I'm having no luck on the PC, Win10, Vegas or Resolve side of things.

Only MPC-HC 64bit will play it for me.

No GH5's in Canada yet... :crybaby:

I've heard that many people are transcoding their GH5 native footage to another format in order to edit it.

Convert V4 is a PC based app that I plan on trying out when I have my camera. ( you can download a trial )
 
I think it's best to transcode the H.264 to an edit friendly codec.

There is no need for payware, ffmpeg (which is free) can be used for this.
 
My work flow is from DaVinci Resolve to Avid Media Composer 8.8.1. I apply my LUT and do color grading in Davinci and then utilize the workflow recommended by DaVinci to send them to Avid Media Composer. Very good workflow.

HP Workstation Zbook 17 with Windows 7 pro 64bit.

They are working for me in FCPX, but not Resolve. Others are having problems with the same version of FCPX, and I don't know what is different about our systems.
 
I did test on 4 of my computers no issue with Adobe cs6 or cc2015. One is a i7-6core. One is i7-4core, a msi laptop and the surface pro 3 i7 (this is the only one needed to playback at 1/8) the rest full resolution. Davinci Resolve right now do not work on windows but yes on Mac.
