This is from someone posting on facebook, I'm still testing it But apparently, once you download the new firmware 2.3 (which is FREE) using your smartphone IMAGE APP(also FREE), you can switch to V-LOG. I tried it and recording with it now. Still testing.
I guess someone will get fired for this.

Save it as a custom profile otherwise you have to redo the process each time.

I have tried this and it works but you need to save the profile to the custom profile and then go too your image app and take off automatic updates. Shooting with Vlog today and really happy about it. This would have never happened if they made a instant download for this... also I can write a book on how they screwed this up from a marketing standpoint on what not to do. Bummer for them.

I'm getting it now, new to the Mac so I went to my wife's pc and the same thing happen, but at least chrome gave me a message that pop ups where blocked, just something she always does, more security conscious than me. Went back to the Mac and turned off block pop ups.

You're welcome. Just make sure you have already the image app as that is the app which has a loophole. That is what panny will surely try to plug!
Also, it might be wise to turn OFF auto update for APPS.

You should probably no up grade the image app, because it will get fixed as well. And download it to all you devices.

But once you save it to a C custom profile you should be good and hopefully won't be needing the app for a while.

Be a good idea to download the current image app to all your devices before it changes and don't update it afterwards
