GH4 GH4 + SMall HD DP6 Issue?

Did a shoot for a high profile client yesterday, shooting UHD. Everything worked well but for some reason, the camera's LCD kept randomly blanking out, would go to black, then pop up again a few seconds later. No blackout on DP6, just the camera's LCD. Any ideas what would cause this to happen? Has anyone else seen this happen? Do I have a defective camera or ? Only the second shoot I have used it on, same monitor on previous shoot and no problems. Advice on what to do? I have another big client shoot next week with a lot of high profile interviews for a network and don't want to deal with this issue. Could this be an HDMI cable issue? I will be trying a different camera and monitor but wanted to know if anyone else is seeing this issue?
 
Were you moving your hand/head in front of the sensor which switches between the Rear screen and the EVF?
this sensor can be switched off in the menu.
 
Good question Matthere, I never even checked that. I will take a look at the menu for that control. I wonder if that could be it? That would make sense.
 
Just as a follow up, Matthere was correct, the camera was switching from monitor to eyepiece. Once I turned that setting off, no problems or issues.
