not only that, shooting 4K, you have to consider all the extra storage you'll need, and whether your computer can handle working with these files. I know it's exciting for everyone, but there's lots to think about when jumping on the 4K bandwagon.seems that in all the buzz about the camera, the fact that everyone's going to need new cards is being overlooked.
Nice! The question is will the GH4 like this card. $103 is pretty good for 64GB card with that speed. The GH4 supports UHS-1 Speed Class 3 SD cards and the best deal I have seen is for the Kingston Digital Kingston Digital 64GB SDHC UHS-I Speed Class 3 Flash Card (SDA3/64GB ) at Amazon .

I bundled an extra battery when I sold my GH3. DOH! Now I have to buy another one.We will find out. I ordered a pair of 64GB cards to go along with the 3 extra Panasonic batteries I ordered. Now the long wait on the camera to arrive.

The main thing to look for is it's a U3 card and the speed required for 4K capture. If the card cant handle it then you will get dropped frames or worse. So, is it all about speed, or is there something special about the UHS3 rating? Because in this video interview with Mark Baber of Panasonic at about the 4 min mark, he says the new UHS 3 card from Panasonic is 90MB/s Read and 40MB/s write. So do you think my UHS 1 95MB/s Sandisk Extreme Pro be satisfactory? I know no one knows for sure what cards will work best, but I'm mainly just asking if anyone knows if UHS1 or 3 matters, or is that just a rating like class 6 or class 10?

I thought I read somewhere that you can use slower cards such as the Sandisk extreme pro 95mb when just shooting HD? Am I wrong about this?
