GH4 GH4 + HDMI to SDI 4k + Odyssey7Q

Hello,

Wondering if anybody smarter than myself has figured out how to get the GH4 to interface with the Odyssey 7Q through its HDMI out -- without the YAGH interface. Will the Blackmagic Design Mini Converter HDMI to SDI 4k work? Has anyone tried this option to record, or even simply display, GH4 footage in 4k on the Odyssey7Q?

The Odyssey7Q does not currently record or display 4K video signals. It will soon, but currently the only 4K it accepts is RAW from either the FS700 or the C500 using a special recording option.
