GH4 GH4 Default Frame Rate when switching frequencies?

I shoot music videos on my gh4 and often switch between Cinema 4k 24fps on 24 hz frequency and HD 60fps 200mb on the 60hz frequency. When changing frequencies you have to turn the camera off and back on. With so much going on onset, I sometimes forget after turning the camera back on that I need to go set the correct frame rate that I want. By default it chooses one that I don't want.

Is there a way to set the default frame rate to automatically choose when switching frequencies on the camera? For instance when I switch from 24 hz to 60 hz, I want it to automatically default to the HD 60fps 200mb incase I forget to go set it manually.

Thanks

Roger

You could save your HD and 4K settings, including frequency switch, in two of the C1-C3(with C3-1,2, &3) custom setups available from the top mode dial. To switch, turn of the camera, change dial from, eg, C-1 to C-2, then turn back on with frequency re-set and your saved shooting settings ready to go. I use the custom setups regularly to switch from 4K to slo-mo HD, etc, without turning the camera off, but no way around this for the frequency switch it seems.

I assume you're swapping to 60fps to shoot for slow motion? If so, might I suggest rather than swapping system frequencies when you do this, you simply set up variable framerate for your HD 200mbit resolution to 60fps on the 24hz system frequency? That way all you need to do is open the Q-menu and scroll to the HD 200mbit to shoot at 60fps, then back to 4k as needed, without having to turn the camera off or dig into system menus.
