GH4 GH4 crashes in playback mode

Always I enter in the playback menu my GH4 crashes. I can operate the camera again only with take the batteries off and place it again.


But when I enter in the Wi-fi mode I can acess the playback. Anyone experience this? There is a solution for this? I am from Brazil and there is no assistance support for GH4 here.

What firmware are you using? Is it possible your firmware is corrupted? Latest firmware is v2.4.

I was in the 2.3 FW with V -log .
So I downloaded the 2.4 FW to see if this problem would be resolved, but did no effect .
Unfortunately this crash in playback menu happens even without SD card in the camera.

If you have an additional battery, try it. Also, have you tried performing a reset in the menu?

Yes I tried this with other battery and the "reset settings". Did not work. The playback menu only functions with the Wi-fi on. So this is a problem of software right? Maybe is possible open the camera and do a general reset in the software?

I would not open the camera, if you literally mean removing screws. After resetting, needing WiFi to use Playback, and crash in playback without an SD card inserted sounds to me there is something wrong with the camera.

Yes. I will try to leave the camera to a pansonic support here in Brazil, but this camera is not commercialized here, I did imported GH4 from US. This is clearly a problem of software and I guess they don't know how to resolve this. If there is a way to do a general reset in software...maybe can be solved.
