The original battery is just US$48. At a savings of US$28 per battery I'd rather just use the originals.

I can't comment on the Watson batteries but so far I have had good luck with these and the price is right:

It's decent. Doesn't last quite as long but does report battery status. I have one as an emergency backup but prefer Panasonic branded. What is useful is the Watson charger. Much better than what comes with the camera.

I would get the Panasonic battery. This weekend I shot with my GH4 for several hours in 6 F weather and it was still going strong. It is a very good battery. Cold weather is a good test of a battery's resilience.

OEM batteries are almost always better than aftermarket, so if the price is not too much more, I go for the OEM. With aftermarket in my experience , you can expect something like 50-70% of the life, both in the hours you can use it and the years it will last. So a bargain price is not that much of a bargain after all.
