GH4 GH4 Audio Stops recording when shooting 24P video

[jtczere]

Help. I just set my GH4 for 24P and starting shooting using the build in mic for audio pickup. When I dropped the clips into Vegas Pro 12, the file only have 10 seconds of audio and then they stop while the video continues to play on. What am I doing wrong.

Firstly, do the clips playback OK in the camera?
If so maybe you should ask this question in the NLE forum.

I use Premiere and never seen anything like that. Does that happen in Windows Media Player, or VLC player as well?

It appears to be a Vegas Pro issues, I do not get the problem when I use Premiere.

There is a bug within Sony Vegas that extends the final frame of video well beyond the length of the actual 24p clip. If that is the issue you are having this script should fix it:
