I have installed the Panasonic image app and it works well for me. My only complaint is the size of the image screen that it displays.
It's not larger than the monitor on the camera. Is there an app. for an android that works as a monitor that covers the entire screen of my 6" android?
I would like to use my phone as a monitor instead of investing in a external monitor.

I believe you're going to need an external monitor, or consider purchasing a tablet larger than your phone.

Considering the GH4's fragile micro-HDMI port, I don't blame you one bit.

I'd also opt for the (relatively) inexpensive Android tablet with a nice large screen, viewable from anywhere within WiFi range and allowing for some degree of remote camera control (and I did, albeit iPad)
