GH4 GH4/3 Audio Bitrate

[Ianscreations]

Does anyone know what bit depth audio (not video) the GH4 and GH3 cameras record with? The sample rate appears to be 48kHz, but I can't figure out the bit depth.

I need to sync up an external audio recorder (Zoom H2n) for backup audio using both my GH4 and GH3. I will be editing with Premiere Pro. The H2n can record in 48kHz/16 bit or 48kHz/24bit, so I'm wondering which is the correct setting to use.

Thanks!

In the Quicktime Inspector my clips show 16-bit Integer (Big Endian) 48.00 khz.

Thank you. I did a test with those settings and it was a perfect match 2 hours in.
