GH3 GH3 Price error?

Do you seen any indications of the lens being included other than the picture? Odd they messed that up, either way.
I'm also curious if B&H's ETA of Dec 5th is when it arrives in the store or in your home if you have preordered.
I still haven't seen an official release date or MSRP!

If it's just the picture then it's probably a mistake. Panasonic's own website had a lot of orders taken during the release of the GH2 where the customers thought they were getting a lens because it was in the product shot. They then had to email and/or call everyone who placed an order to ask if they understood that they were buying the body only. They even put a little blurb under the photo on their own online store until the had a shot of the body without the lens. How a photographic company can take so long to take a shot of one of their own products baffles me but the wrong image was up there for a number of weeks.

The blurb underneath lists the lens as Standard accessories along with the camera body, body cap, battery charger, shoulder strap etc. Which to me means that it is included in that deal- or should be ;)

I've seen photos of action figures holding weapons wrong & (at least once, maybe more) a Transformer that was transformed incorrectly. I guess sometimes they just hire product photographers & don't bother to send anyone over who knows about the product.

I have to say I am really impressed with JVC. They almost always have a dozen photos of a new camera & even old discontinued cameras easily found on their site.

I can tell you as I've been hired to do product photography in the past, the photographer and sometimes even the web designer / graphic artist are not necessarily familiar with the product.

I finished a series of Karate Gi photos once, only to find out afterwards that I had the top half of the uniform folded backwards (right half over left half). Worst part? I found out first from the comments on their website from consumers asking why it is shown that way. No one who proofed the images caught the error, and it was some time before I was asked to schedule a reshoot.

i was in Jessops the other day and they had a Panasonic guy in store wearing his Lumix shirt and G series camera strapped around him. i asked if he could search the system for the GH3. he chatted to me and was saying "yeah they have upped the "megahertz" on the GH3 to 90, thats much higher than broadcast quality" hahaa. he also answered "no! its just the video that they have improved over the GH2" when the Jessops guy asked what the difference was.

i had to say well they have upped loads of stuff, its a magnesium body now and its a fair bit bigger for starters, wifi too! he looked like a little kid who had just been caught stealing sweeties :)

i bought a scanner/printer combo a while ago and it has a small CD/DVD size flap at the front and the guy in the shop said its for printing direct from disks, when i got it home it turned out to be the bit you stick the tray to catch the paper once it spits it out!

half transformed transformer hahaaa i liked that.
