GH3 GH3 M4/3 mount or Canon EF mount lens

I recently purchased my own GH3 and am in need of a few lenses. For now I'm using some of my Pentax lenses from my photography stuff, but would like to purchase a few faster cine-type lenses. (Possibly a Rokinon kit or a few of their lenses) I have a A28 2.8, M50 2.0, and a Tamrom 28-75 2.8.

My question is, should I by the native 4/3 mount or Canon EF mount, if I go Rokinon or some other that has m4/3 mount. Reason I ask about the Canon is because most of my friends shoot Canon, and if I need a 2nd camera then I can borrow from them. Also, the same goes for glass; if I need to borrow glass from them, I'll have already purchased an EF adapter. Another things is that if I decided to see the lenses, is there a better market for Canon mount lenses than m4/3?

Thanks.

Native lenses are your only option if you want access to autofocus or auto anything else... the relative small size is also a plus. If you're after speed, there are the Voigtlander 0.95 primes which are m43-only, as well as various 'SLR Magic' fast primes.

If you're buying all-manual SLR-type lenses like Rokinons that come in a variety of mounts, I think it makes more sense to get Canon or Nikon mount to allow the flexibility of SpeedBooster adapters as well as using them on CaNikon bodies.

If your friends all have Canon and you have already discussed renting/trading/sharing equipment, then sure, EF makes sense.

The most flexible mount type (lens side) is usually Nikon, which can also be adapted to Canon EF, PL, Nikon, and just about anything else.

If you decide on Rokinon's get the Canon version as the focus rotates the same direction as Cine lenses (& most any brand except Nikon). Don't get the m43 versions as you won't be able to use them on other cameras or a Speed Booster.
