GH3 GH3 LCD Viewfinder vs. resulution...makes sense?

Hi!

I am just about to buy myself a GH3 which means changing rigs and everything (yeah! It´s fun!)

On the GH1 I always used the VF for focussing, since the LCD simply didn´t cut it due to its resolution.
With the GH2 and its working HDMI I could use a monitor.

So, question: How does the GH3´s LCD resolution compare to looking through a GH1´s VF or a GH2 on a external monitor?

I´d love to use a LCD viewfinder for fast and low profile shooting, but only if it could deliver sufficent resolution (measured by your experiences rather than by specs).

I use the viewfinder on my GH3 all the time and I have no issue with focus. I also used this method with my GH1 with great results. I think the GH3 flip out screen is good also but it can be hard to see in outdoor light, especially since my
eyes are not as good as they used to be,
 
Hi Richtiger,

I know the viewfinder is good (on all models). But I´m wondering how the flip out LCD combined with a LCD VF (like Zacuto and others) compare to it for focussing.
