GH3 GH3 Gave Me a Heart Attack Tonight

My other card based camera, Canon XA 10, has the option of both an "initialization" and a "complete initialization". I assume the latter is low level but that is an assumption.

I would tend to go with that assumption.

Apple appears to use an odd protocol & there are numerous incompatibly reports online.

Bad news! I shot another wedding last night.....nervous and checking footage the entire night. Changing cads often. I reformatted all cards in the Gh3 before use. I have realized this is a camera issue as the same camera did this for a second time. My other GH3 has never done this. The reason I know it's not the cards is that I was using a rarely used 16gb sandisk when I got the same error message while reviewing footage. I ejected and reinserted the disk and powered off the camera. I rechecked and it was okay. The other camera has never had this issue with any of the cards. So for the remainder of the night, I used the 'faulty' GH3 as my backup cam only. I'll have to call Panny during a break between projects which isn't any time soon. Sounds like the repair process is a couple weeks!

Thanks for that. Yup, found some of those. My searches have yet to turn up the proper solution to this. Surely there must be Mac users here who have the answer.
