GH2 Gh3 bigger body?

So I'm hearing rumors that the GH3 will have a weather sealed body. I assume this means it might also be a bit bulkier. What do you think, would you want a slightly bigger GH3?

Personally I would. I would like the see Panasonic position the GH3 into the same territory as the Nikon D7000. Then up the position of the G series still cameras with slightly better video and keep the GF series on the low end. Because m4/3 is kind of missing the higher end and I feel like there isn't enough separation in their current lineup.

all that would be nice. but all i want from a gh3 experience is a global shutter and better looking native glass. most everything else can be managed

I really dig the small form factor. I have a funky cheap reconfiguration shoulder mount from Amazon and offset the camera on it so I can use the viewfinder without a loupe. Works perfect, its tiny, and doesn't draw any attention. I never shoot handheld so bigger isn't better for me. I guess waterproofing would be nice though.

Servo zoom and a faster comp on board to reduce skew! And yes a larger body would be nice. The GH2 is small by anyone's standards.

The problem is Pana want to sell as many units as possible and by making it very tekky and packed with features that cost money they eat into the profit margin. They want to be shoulder to shoulder with the other cams but not at any cost.

The majority of GH2 users will not be like 99% of the people on this forum. Yes you guys are the mighty 1% of the Gh2 market place, but your influence is huge in terms of street credibility. If you guys say its cool then it is. The last wedding I attended, I saw an endless firing line of Canon's and Nikon's, the wedding photographer was lost in the line up. Oh wait he had the small one.

There is no way Pana will lose and confuse video customers with photo customers. The market and technologies have been segregated intentionally. We should acknowledge that a still camera and video camera are basically the same technology in a different shaped box with minor adjustments. It used to be the difference between a fork and spoon, not anymore as we have forked spoons.

Yeah Pana will add one or two treats just to box shift another rebadged device. in truth Pana could've given consumers the whole shopping list and more, tweeks and technologies not even discussed by the high end user on here. This is a game and we are just supporter and fans, not a players.
