GH3 GH3 Battery

Just get on the waiting list. Add it to your cart on the B&H website. They won't charge your card until they ship it.

That's what I did and seems like only about 2 and a half weeks and I got an email it had shipped. You'll probably get it just as fast as the "pre-order" for the 3rd party battery B&H has listed.
 
On a side note, this battery is amazing. I wouldn't go with a generic to save a few $$$ because these things last nearly a full day of shooting.
I have had batteries that literally weigh a pound (Sony NP750) that didn't last half as long. Amazing.
 
Wouldn't you know not long after I posted this B&H sent me a notice they are in stock now. Thanks.

I tried some of those for the GH2 and Olympus E-P3. Almost cost me a camera, of the pair for the Oly one swelled up in the camera and I almost couldn't get it out and the other simply "died" forever on the fourth charge cycle.

Of the pair I had for the GH2, neither gave me more than half the run time the Genuine Lumix battery did.

For the GH3 I simply ordered one and waited til they shipped to me. I will not pay $1300 for a camera body and use "junk" with it.
