Need help!
I usually shoot Manual Focus.
This weekend, I needed to film a conference that involved zooming in on the speaker as well as the crowd. It was a small room, so I used the 12-35m f2.8
I shot at 30fps at 2.8 and used ISO to set exposure. It was a decently lit room, so I was about to stay around 2500 ISO.
I had Autofocus set to AFC with face detection. Even with a static shot (no lighting change, camera movement, or subject movement), the camera would occasionally hunt for focus.
I don't know why this happened quite a few times. Is it b/c I had the "Face Detection" setting on?
Has anyone found the best AutoFocus settings to avoid "hunting" during run n gun scenarios?
Thanks!
