GH3 GH3 Audio capabilities?

Can someone who has a GH3 in their possession please let use know more about the Audio capabilities of the camera? I haven't been able to find anything about this online. I've been a GH2 user since March 2011 and I really love the camera. For a while I was using it for a lot of run and gun work before I got my AC160. I used to run a Sennheiser G3 evolution setup directly into the camera and trust that the meters I saw on screen were accurate, on a few occasions I had interference issues and didn't know it until I got to my office and reviewed the footage.

I know the GH3 has a headphone jack and that's wonderful, what I don't know is if the on screen meters have improved? Can you adjust the input level while recording? And does the camera have AGC and if so can it be turned off. I realize this is not important to a lot of people who use a dual recording system, I have an h4n myself. But there are times when you want to travel light and these features would be wonderful. Of course it won't be iinear PCM 24 bit audio, But some decent Dolby AC3 works fine for a lot of projects. Any input on this is appreciated.

You can adjust the audio levels while recording using the touch screen. Haven't figured out another way yet. Meters look the same, not sure about functionality. Headphone output can be selected as either a live output with no in-camera mixer applied (for monitoring that its indeed getting sound) or a delayed output with the levels baked in.

The camera has a 3.5mm audio input jack instead of the old 2.5mm jack. The mic jack is now well clear of the touch screen pivot area but the headphone jack blocks it a bit.

Headphone monitoring volume can be adjusted from the menu while not recording.

As far as I can tell there is no AGC setting anywhere when in creative movie mode. You just have an audio levels option. To me this indicates that there is no AGC in creative movie mode, but I haven't done any testing on this.
