GH3 Gh3 Af behavior during 24p/50Mbps & 24p 72Mbps All-I recording?

Will your GH3 AF (AF-S or AF-C) while recording at 24p/50Mbps? And also at 24p 72Mbps All-I?
(i got a funky unit which is being returned, waiting on its replacement...)
 
gh3 can af in video.... just change the menu item for continues focus to ON.
If it is in OFF , the you have to press shutter every time you want to refocus.
 
Ok, what I found out: It's the 14-45 lens that cannot AF during 24P recording (it will AF at other frame rates). This is because Pana never did update that lens' firmware to to work with 24P, the 14-45 predating the GH-series. I am told Pana Japan are looking into possibly correcting this in the future w/ a firmware update to that oldie lens... Btw, a couple of the early Oly m43 lenses have the same limitation.

Request: If someone has a 45-200mm they can test on a GH3, please check if it's AF operates -while recording to the card- at 24P, and post back in this thread.
