This is, without a doubt, the best slow motion I have seen from the camera.
Driftwood's Quantum v2 24p is included.

Two options:
60 FPS:720p SH
50 FPS:720p H

Yes. I had a breakthrough with 720p; P frames are now consistently bitrate saturated, no matter if scene complexity is low. This means they behave more like I frames, and are able to convey a grain pattern and smaller macroblocks. This encoder 'opening' doesn't exist for 1080i, so 720p now outpaces 1080i considerably (like a mini 'quantum').

Finally buying a GH2 and two 64gb cards, darned excited to push the cam to the limit.

-will span. Spanned at 11:53 on a deathchart w/ a little motion.
I'm tweaking the main 2 for longterm recording.

And Sage, what's the deal with the 32gb Sandisk Extreme pro 95mb/s cards? Do they not work properly? A little cheaper for sure.
 
Man. I'm using Quantam V2 for 24p with the 156MB and 66MB, but haven't even thought of looking into 60FPS patches. I think im going to get a headache :(

Will do when I've got a chance. Also, the tweaked variation is up, for long term stability in 60 SH, and spanning for 50 and 60 (at 50p speed H). [I think... it did span on a deathchart w/ increased bitrate vs. the 1st version, but motion might change the result - please verify] Spans at around 10-15 minutes.

I think the 64 does small writes a little bit faster, and this bodes well for spanning. Though given the patch variations floating around, its hard to keep track of how spanning is working on the various combos of patch/card/conditions. I've heard a report of a 32 spanning quantum, and a 64 not! Best guarantee is a 64, which will probably span 24L without consequence.
 
Someone said the same thing on PView. It's a difference in the type of card, so 64gb x 2 it is.

I noticed on your GH2-X v3 combo patch, that the following settings are omitted from the Quantum 7 Patch:
AVCHD Encoded / Bitrate settings
- 1080p24 Low Top Setting
- 1080p24 Low Bottom Setting
- Other Modes Top Setting
- Other Modes Bottom Setting

Was this intentional?

You guys do know that spanning stops it from playing back incamright? You can easilyget 4-5 mins record time without spanning.
 
Just ordered a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB SDXC. Does this patch (I assume its sete.zip not setd.zip) play back in camera? If not, can someone point me to the patch I could use and play back in camera with SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB SDXC card?
