gh2 workflow/fcp

I dont have my Gh2 yet but I'm wondering if the GH2 workflow is the same as Gh1? Log and Transfer into fcp then export to compressor using the settings in the sticky(GH1 pulldown removal using FCP) at the top of this sub forum?
 
GH2 shoots native 24p, so no pulldown removal needed - just a straight L & T...simple. After waiting almost 20 hours transcoding and reverse telecine'ing two hours of GH1 footage with Voltaic HD recently, I am so looking forward to getting a GH2.
 
FCP version 6.0.6 work on GH2 files?

I just got my GH2 today. Yeah! I have FCP version 6.0.6
Do I have to upgrade to version 7 to work on my GH2 files ?
I am running a Mac if it matters. Thanks ahead of time.
 
nope, put the card in a reader open a project and use log and transfer to pro res. same version im using with gh1 files there s no difference in that aspect
 
What am I missing, Ive done this with canon cameras and others, but never a Panasonic. Just got my gh2 and after figuring out the card reader didnt read cards over 4 gigs, still no love. FCP says that the "Private has an unsupported media or an invalid directory structure."

Quad core OSX 10.6.4, FCP 7.0.3

You say that your card reader couldn't read the card, so how did you access the files on the card?
