GH2 GH2 with GoPro HERO3 Black Edition

I wanted to do a test film using my friends GH2 and my HERO3 Black Edition. We wanted to see what it looked like when we inter-cut the two cameras in the same film. Well you can definitely tell which is which in this. On a side note, protune was not enabled on the GoPro, and it actually does make a difference, but it is no where comparable to the GH2 in this video.

In case you were wondering about the shot where the camera is chasing the hooded man, I used the AR.Drone 2.0 with the GoPro attached. I'm not that good with color correcting, but I attempted to match the GoPro footage to the GH2's bluish look.

I don't know if it's YouTube's fault but on my MacBook Pro the latter scenes are so dark that it's all but impossible to see what is going on. Otherwise it's excellent with good use of ominous music.

I have played about with a GoPro HD Hero 2 on an AR.Drone 2 but it really struggles to fly with any degree of control. The Hero3 is quite a bit lighter so I imagine that it flies better. Did you use any special mount or just fix the GoPro on with gaffer tape or a rubber band?

You're correct when you say it looks a little dark towards the end.

For the AR.Drone, I added a flat adhesive mount, and attached the HERO3 with the frame. I added stilts to the landing gear so that the camera doesn't smack the floor when it lands. I did a little tutorial for it. I was a little unhappy with the positioning, so I plan on removing the mount and putting it closer to the front of the Drone.
