GH2 GH2 Two .MTS Files won't import / card issue?

Hi there all,
I am having an issue with a couple .MTS files from my GH2... They are not showing up in the normal import window in Final Cut Pro 10.0.6... There must be some strange issue with how they're labeled, or maybe the recording messed them up somehow... Anyway, I can see new footage that I shoot, and I can actually navigate to the actual .MTS files using "show package contents" in the Finder... but I can't get them into FCPX for editing. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with a clip that was recorded when the battery failed on me..

I had to import the clip in Premiere Pro...

Cheers

I've noticed that if the GH2 loses HDMI while recording it will stop, and sometimes leave you with a corrupt (0kb) file. I've also had files go bad if the take is interrupted or stopped by something (always tends to happen on the best take too).

I have this happening all the time, most of the time due to battery getting flat while recording.
If you still have the footage on SDCard, try Panasonic's avchd restorer software.
Otherwise just use Clipwrapper to convert the clip to ProRes.
