GH2 Gh2 stopped recognize 14 140

Hi all

My GH2 stopped recognize the 14 140.
Both 20 1.7 and 14 2.5 are working.

I have cleaned the contacts and its not helping - I am getting the error "please check that the lens is attached correctly"

Any idea before sending it to be fixed?

try it on another body if you are able to just to confirm, even at a shop with a lumix series body like a g3. quite odd though. maybe factor rest on the camera?
 
The camera "thinks" that the lens monting button is depressed. Check the hole on the mount of the lens on the left side when the electrical contacts are facing down.
If the hole is not clean the sensing lever on the camera may signal a lens mounting error.

I checked on a G3 and its the same.
Thanks for the tip tyampel, I gave it to the lab already but I will go and check
 
update

the main controlling circuit has lost his contacts. Need to reattach with infrared process.

150$ fix.

Well, I love this lens, so its worth the fix for me.

Thanks for the help, I hope this thread will not be necessary for anyone.
