GH2 GH2 Short Film Storyboarded by a 7yr old

[pchristoph]

Teach the kids and let them do it. I knew Jacob (7) was a talented artist and had him storyboard this short film. He loved it. Shot on the GH2 with my Takumar 50/1.4 on a monopod. Slide done on a Kessler PBPocketDolly.

Thats just great you are exposing them to film at such a early age. Keep it up I really like the shots and the music.

Wow that was amazing man.
Their storyboards are better than mine!
A very sweet video thank you.

Yeah really, a 7 year old makes better boards than I do. Is he available for freelance work?

Gorgeous video. What kind of ND filter were you using? Also - were you using a follow focus at all?

[boo]

looks filmic! what were your settings? was there any post processing to give it that look or was it straight from the GH2? thanks!

Thanks for the compliments guys! To answer a few questions at once... I used a SuperTakumar 50mm 1.4 lens. I didn't have a ND filter, and I think I shot with shutter speed somewhere around 2000 for the outdoor shots. Just a bit of CC in Final Cut with contrast and wb on a few clips, otherwise it's straight from the camera. Smooth mode. -2,-2,0,-2
I like using my hands for all follow focus stuff.
And yes, his drawings surpass my stickmen as well!
