GH2 problem

Sorry to hear this happens to your GH2.
I have a suggestion. Try to get the cheap battery on ebay that port the dc supply terminal.
It may work since this is the same as connecting the camera to DC. Maybe it will work since it uses just 2 terminals without battery status signal.
Only side effect is you cannot see the status of the battery.

At least with this you do not have to go to all this hassle of returning and waiting which sucks!
 
Any store who cares at all about their customer would help in this situation. It's not like you're trying to get a full refund...you just want a working camera. If you have your paperwork, I can't see why they wouldn't exchange it, because they'll just ship back to Panasonic and get a new one anyway. Good luck to you.
 
I will call Abel in the morning already talked to Panasonic they said it was defective and they would fix it under warranty. So i ordered a silver body tonight from Kenmore. FYI they have a bunch of GH2`s that came in today.
