GH2 problem with Electronic Viewfinder

My Panasonic Lumix DMC GH2 is only two weeks old and my electronic viewfinder have gone nuts!
I must have done something wrong while working with the Menu/Setup.
The LCD screen is fine but the colours in the viewfinder has gone blue and reddish!!!:embarasse

I prefer to use viewfinder all the time especially shooting HD Video outdoors.

Have sent the camera to the Customer Care Centre here in Shah Alam, Malaysia and they are clueless about the problem. One even said that it was their first time seeing the GH2!!!!

I would appreciate very much if my fellow GH2 users can enlighten me about this. I suspect it has something to do with the setting. I resetted it twice but to no avail.

I like this camera very much and have shot ( and posted up at Youtube) two 24p Cinema mode clips at my site at http://www.youtube.com/donaldghtan

Thanks and Regards

Is it slightly blue and red like theres a color calibration problem or very blue and red like there is a connection or screen problem and it needs to be replaced? Shouldn't the customer care center be able to get you a new camera or at least replace the viewfinder?

Yes, it is most likely one of these problem.
Oh dear, with the camera only a week in use, I should be getting a new camera replacement! The shocking thing is that they send me home without even testing it or comparing with another unit. The entire Customer Care Centre do not even have one unit for repair test and use! They said they would call me up to come over when the request one set (from Marketing Dept. which I guess, in an surburb 20 Km away! Was still wondering just how many unit did they sold off here in Malaysia? Are they not prepared for their 'Flagship' model?
It would be grossly unfair if they are going to REPAIR my unit as it may take a week or more ( if spares' just like the battery) are not here yet. I would not be able to use the camera after paying a premium for it.

I am expecting the worst should this happen as I have bad experiences with their other domestic products.

Thanks Ben, for your reply. I will be posting on the development of this solution so that we, Micro Four Third users will get the feel about the plus and minuses on the efficiency and respond time on any difficulty faced.

Done!
Thanks Panasonic for replacing a new Electronic Viewfinder of my new GH2.
It is confirmed that my camera's EVF was faulty.
It looked like the ever first for the GH2 and the G series.

It took only an hour to solve my problem.
Good show Panasonic.

Hmmm - I thought my eyes might be going bad but I think I have the same sort of problem. I'm in USA-CA-Bay Area. Where is the nearest service center?

Here's the problem I've been having with my EVF... I was recording for long extended periods of time, around 30 mins plus, and after a while, the colours in the EVF would get SUPER saturated. I flipped out the LCD panel, and the colour looked ok, then I went back to the EVF and it was back to normal for a short period before it went super saturated again. I wonder if it's overheating? It didn't seem to affect the quality of the recorded footage however.

Anyone else having this problem?

...Same problem here.. battery?

Hi folks. I've had a similar problem with the GH2's viewfinder - after a few minutes the red seems to spike.. It's just occurred to me that I have only seen this when using third party batteries - never with the Panasonic battery... Any comments?
