GH2 GH2/Premiere Pro CS5 Frustration: iMovie works better...

My first post in this forum. Please, be gentle.

I've had the GH2 for a month or so now. I'm not a videographer by any means - I bought the camera to record my live concerts.

Here's my problem: the GH2 footage looks like its shaking, althought it's on a tripod, and even the most stable objects seem "alive". I've previously worked with Nikon and Canon DSLRs and never had this problem. I tried iMovie and the image is stable and non of abovementioned problems occur. Of course, I would rather not use iMovie.

I feel like I've tried every sequence and export setting possible. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Try running it through 5DtoRGB first. Also make sure all of your system's codecs are up to date.

Check out the min. requirements for CS5 and see if your computer meets them. The jerkiness sounds as though either your computer doesn't have enough 'oommph' and/or its playing the wrong field first...? (Assuming interlaced footage is what you're shooting.)
