GH2 Power Options- USB Charging or Not, Time and Battery choices?

I am wondering if you can recharge the GH2 by connecting to computer by USB?

If so, how long does it take?


Does anybody have the power cord and how long it takes to charge while simultaneously shooting?

My questions are because the SDXC card at 64GB seems to shoot longer than the battery life, so I am concerned about shutting down before replacing battery/ stopping video and losing data.

No you can't

The GH2 power adapter as far as I've seen does not piggyback off the battery charger like the GH1, so simultaneous charging isn't possible. Even on the GH1 where it did piggyback, it was power or charge, not both at the same time. So answer, neither will.

If you want to fill a 64GB card, you're likely going to have to have it plugged into the mains for the duration.
