Hello, new GH2 owner and Board member here enjoying reading the forums and looking for some advice on best video settings for taking flying planes (both airshows and model planes). In basic testing I found 24p looked very jerky when panning. 1080i 60 & 720p 60 both looked good but 720p would hardly play back on my pc after being rendered by Vegas (compared to 1080 60i which ran smoothly for some reason?) I want to play back the video on a large screen tv from my pc, so, if I haven't already answered my own question what is the best mode setting for this type of fast motion video? Also, what would be the best focus & exposure settings? Any comments from anyone, especially those taking similar video would be appreciated.
