Maybe it could be useful for the community to show how with GH2 is fast, easy and effective to shoot on Kessler Cineslider.

Shot on Olympus E-P2 with Canon FD 50mm f/1.2 @ wide open f1/1.2.
Quick & Dirty Random Shots on Panasonic GH2
with G Vario 14-140mm f/4-5.8 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S HD
kit lens, Kessler Cineslider™ and Gitzo Fluid Head
plus Hoya Circular Polarizer filter.
GH2 settings:
Cinema 24p (23.98 fps), AWB, ISO 160, 1/50 shutter
Image look settings:
Smooth
-2 sharpness
-2 contrast
0 saturation
0 nr
Log + Transfer, edited in FCP and slightly graded (CC 45%) with
GenArts Sapphire Film Effect using the following film stock look:
- Neg Film stock: Kodak_5245: Eastman EXR 50D, low speed, daylight balanced, very fine grain.
- Print Film stock: Kodak_2383: Kodak VISION Color Print Film, rich blacks.
Due to many shots and very fast shooting sometimes the footage is not 100% in horizontal level
because it was made directly from the slider at the ground floor that was always on a different angle.
But managing the perfect horizontal level was not a purpose of those shots.
Also GH2 is pretty noisy @ 160 ISO when used at slow aperture between f/16 and f/22 because
if there is not enough light then for sure a noise can occur.
All is about slow base of the kit lens that is not so fast (F/4.0 -5.8) and with additional Circ-Pola filter
you'll get about 1 & 1/3 stop of less light and was no need to add ND 0.3 or more...
at the end that could be main reason for noise in shadows at some of the shots.
Anyway I did noise reduction at the two entry shots using
Neat Video De-noiser, MB De-noiser and The Foundry Furnace De-noiser.
The footage is too big to show and upload in 1080p size at Vimeo (1.8 GB)
and that was the reason I uploaded at 720p only.
Hope you would understand that.
At the end also I had issues with the lens focus at ETC mode, probably missed something to adjust,
also it was very cold day, freezing temperature -4 Celsius
and that was the last shot or maybe I have to upgrade the lens firmware (!!!???).
Audio mix:
Original location sound recorded on GH2
Music: Antonio Vivaldi
The Four Seasons
Location: Belvedere Gardens Vienna.
It was one-man crew sort of shots during about an hour of walk through Belvedere gardens.
Duration: 7 min and 34 sec.
Please keep in mind this video has a test purpose only
and it doesn't pretend to get any other sort of intention.
