GH2 needs to get a stepping and a shipping

[Justyn]

Now... Today I really had something to make me go.. hmmm. A friend wants to rent a DSLR from me for a month and I don't have one right now and the big rub is that she'd totally cover half the cost of the whole camera in the rental. She doesn't want to own one and she'd need me to show her how to use it and get her set up to process the stills as she won't be shooting video. This is the kick in the pants cause there's nothing more blessed than equipment you know will be taken care of making money and not having to do a darn thing really. I'm swamped in video land anyway so sure I"d miss it but man this is a kick in the posterior..

I know it's a stupid rant but even more of a reason to whine now. I mentioned being able to get a japanese menu version but she looked at me like I was crazy... Ohh well, it's a waiting game now.

Anyone have an idea when it's supposed to be here? If not, I'll have to hook her up with other sources.... cheers.

Does she specifically want the GH2? You could get the T2i, make the $500 or so that she's going to pay you, sell the camera when she's done with it and you will have yourself a free GH2.

You know Cory... I was thinking that same kind of thing too. I might have to check into that or be an upstanding guy and tell her to just pick one up. The big thing is that she wanted me to pick out a nice lens too. Ahhh well, something will come out in the wash.

Peace to you and have a great holiday season!
