GH2 GH2 mode change with HDMI out

Hi all,

I just realized that the GH2 automatically change the 720P recording mode to 1080i when an HDMI monitor is connected. Any way to avoid this?

Not that I know of.
You probably noticed that you also lose the expanded focus function.

Yes, but it was less a problem than the video format behavior...

Wait, you can't record 1080p/24 with a monitor hooked up? I understand sending 1080i/30 out for monitoring, but the recording should not be affected.
