GH2 GH2 Menu's Rec Mode greyed out

After shooting with the GH2 in 24P mode for about a month, (no problems) thought I'd try 720P 60. Reformatted my class 10 Transcend 32G card > Mode dial is on Motion Picture Icon-M> Menu Set> Manual movie mode >Motion Picture > and REC Mode is greyed out, can't change to AVCHD 1080i or 720P like the manual says. Anybody else have this problem? Thanks

It looks like you have the camera set to 24p Cinema mode. You have to select Manual Movie Mode.
 
Well powered up just now and REC mode is there in manual movie mode. Could swear I was in Manual movie mode yesterday as noted above. Thanks.
 
Ran into this myself and it seems that if you have a monitor attached to the camera it wont let you change the Rec Mode. Take off the HDMI cable and you can change it again.
